'ay' Hut - Hurgh (It is Dark)

(11/26/2022) Have you ever been in complete and utter darkness?

Usually when we say it's completely dark, there's still a bit of moon or star light, or a street lamp, or light from under the door. I think I was only in complete darkness once, when I was doing some tourist thing in the caves somewhere in South Dakota. They take you down into a cave system and then, just for a moment, turn out all the lights, so you can experience the total darkness.

I also dreamt about it recently. But I was not in South Dakota in the dream, as you might have guessed. I was on an alien planet. And I was not surrounded by friendly tourists and tour guides and escape elevators, but rather by danger, emptiness, and the immensity of the experience.

This song is on that topic. Hurgh is a verb meaning "to be dark". (It is also a noun meaning "pickle". But based on the rest of the lyrics of the song, I think it's safe to assume the "dark" meaning).
